This is a clock made early in Showa area in Japan. Ornaments on the wooden frame around a dial plate are pieces of excellent workmanship. A clock might be not only a tool to know the hour but also a kind of status symbol at that time. It is hung on the pillar before the banquet hall.
Our inn retains the charming atmosphere of traditional Japanese architecture and is not equipped for barrier-free access. Elderly guests or those with mobility difficulties may find the stairs and other features challenging.
Surrounding our inn, you will find nostalgic Japanese scenery, and opening the windows may allow insects to enter.
