Traditional Room Kujaku Room
The Peacock Room is a relocated villa of the prominent merchant Kiya Tōemon, who thrived during the Edo period. The room features elegant details, such as transoms depicting the Four Noble Ones and handles adorned with cloisonné. Please relax and enjoy the ambiance reminiscent of the Edo era.
- The room is located on the second floor, accessible by stairs, so it is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties.
- Due to the room’s acoustics, which can easily amplify footsteps from the floor below, we kindly ask that elementary school-aged children and younger refrain from staying.
For Guests Staying in the Traditional Room
The traditional guest rooms are designed to allow guests to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere, preserved as they were in the past. Please note that the air conditioning may not be fully effective, and there may be slight temperature variations in winter and summer. We appreciate your understanding.
